Barack Obama dismissed Ralph Nader’s claim that Obama is trying to “talk white” and has failed to challenge the power structure to appeal to “white guilt.”The Rocky Mountain News reported that Nader said he was not impressed with Obama and that the senator was playing down poverty issues.
“There’s only one thing different about Barack Obama... He’s half African-American,” Nader said. “Whether that will make any difference, I don’t know. I haven’t heard him have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos. Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What’s keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn’t want to appear like Jesse Jackson?”

The Washington Post has included an insert called Rise Up in last Fridays paper. It is a magazine dedicated to closing the great racial divide. It is the same stuff we have seen before; trying to convince whites that they should do more to expose themselves to other races. Why can't they just leave us alone?

A high court in South Africa on Wednesday decided that Chinese-South Africans will be reclassified as 'black,' a term that includes black Africans, Indians and others who recieved less benefits under apartheid. As a result of this nonsense, Chinese citizens will be able to benefit from government affirmative action policies aimed at undoing the effects of apartheid.
The Chinese Association of South Africa sued the government, claiming that its members were being discriminated against because they were being treated as whites and thus failed to qualify for business contracts and job promotions reserved for 'victims' of apartheid. The association successfully argued that, since Chinese-South Africans had been treated unequally under apartheid, they should be reclassified in order to redress wrongs of the past. They did not mention that the Chinese benefited almost as much as the whites during the apartheid era. They were able to live in their own communities and now they can not.

Save Europe.net is pleased to report that our efforts have been fruitful. We worked hard to inform Irish Americans about the dangers of being to closely tied to the EU. We told them to contact their friends and family back in Ireland and on June 12, 2008 Irish voters have rejected the Lisbon Treaty.With results in from 28 of the 43 constituencies, the Lisbon Treaty is rejected by a margin of 53.6% to 46.4%.
This sends a strong message to leaders across Europe and will provide support for other European nations seeking to retain their independence. SaveEurope.net is proud to have helped the cause.

Senator Obama has now reached the number of delegates needed to secure the Democratic nomination for the Presidency. The Center sent a letter to Senator Clinton to offer advice on what went wrong and what direction to go from here. The letter can be seen on the activities page on this website. A wave of xenophobic attacks spread through South African townships on Monday as mobs beat foreigners and set some ablaze like during the apartheid era. At least 13 people were killed over the weekend. Immigrants from other African nations are accused of taking jobs and committing violent crimes. They are lured by work in South Africa's mines, farms and homes, and by one of the world's most liberal immigration and refugee policies. An Estimated 3 million Zimbabweans are in South Africa, they fled the economic collapse following the end of white rule.
The unrest is an embarrassment for a country that has vaunted its tolerance since the end of apartheid.

South Africa has made the same mistake as Europe in allowing many immigrants. When will leaders realize that a liberal immigration policy means eventual self-destruction. We urge all nations to stop these dangerous levels of senseless immigration. According to The Center for Perpetual Diversity prosperous nations have the most to lose and the entire world will lose if Western nations collapse.

Members of Save Europe started the Save Ireland project this week by distributing flyers at local Irish pubs. Many of the people we encountered were in agreement with our efforts to help the Irish people defeat the Lisbon Treaty in a June 12 vote. If enough funds are raised members will travel to Ireland to speak.
